RIP Issey Miyake. A brilliant, original mind. Lightness, form, movement, tenderness always. A language of their own that felt both simpler and more advanced than any contemporary. A genius of body, colour, motion and nature, a gift to all of us. pic.twitter.com/x5pS0q2e0a

Hudson Mohawke and Patti Harrison team up for Bicstan video
Ahead of the release of her new album Cry Sugar this Friday, August 12 on Warp Records, the Glasgow artist shared a new music video.
Hudson Mohawke's Bicstan bill image co-directed by American comedians Patti Harrison and Alan Resnick. Harrison, also an actress known for her roles in Shrill, Together and The Lost City as well as her contribution to the writing of Big Mouth, is also featured in the music video. The clip shows Harrison acting as a dancer in a 1v1 basketball game and unleashing spider-like supernatural powers.
Speaking while making the video, Harrison and Resnick said: “The first time we heard Hudson Mohawke's song Bicstan, we both started dancing like crazy and we couldn't stop. As the song ended, we noticed a dusty basketball in the corner of the room that wasn't there before. The idea for the music video came directly from this experience. We saved a lot of money on production because we had this free basketball.
Bicstan is taken from Mohawke's third album, Cry Sugar, which will be his first original release since Lantern in 2015. Mohawke also recently dropped Stump and Cry Sugar (Megamix) prior to release. Full album release. Watch the music video in the player above.
